Ultimate Surrender: Why Did They Leave?

edited November 2016 in Ultimate Surrender
I see this question asked a lot here in the forums with little to no responses or just being told to "reference the forums where Matt said it." So I decided to start a compiled list of why did they leave. It covers those who have passed away to retirees to rage quitters (those who quit in the middle of a match) and more.

Feel free to add or correct if I am wrong.

Deceased:
Amber Rayne (Cocaine/Alcohol overdose)
Hollie Stevens (Breast cancer)
Stacey Cash

Rage Quitters:
Lucy Lee
Dana
Nikki Viez[sic] (Not really in rage, Dana quit and blamed her so she too felt she had to go)
Lizzy London

Too Dangerous:
Devi Lynn (put her own safety at risk to break holds)

Unreliable:
Gia DiMarco (became a constant no-show)

Shamed Out:
Yellow Kitty (she was unmasked and after that didn't appear on Kink ever again)

Retired: (from industry means porn industry)
DragonLily
Isis Love
Princess Donna (from industry)
Eva
Jesse Cox (from industry)
Crimson Ninja
Syd
Vendetta
Tia Ling
Bobbi Star
Alexa von Tess
Bryn Blayne (from industry)

Quit After Injury:
Sarah Blake
Kiki Koi

  • I think princess donna left kink due to the acquisations involving james dean a while back
  • OK I may have confused something with Donna. When I leave out the (from industry) it just means they're retired from US and not from the industry. So Bobbi Starr (who FreeOnes is listing as retired in 2013 for some reason) is still in the industry as I see what you mean from the March shoot but the forums revealed she retired or is assumed retired from US from what I gathered.

  • ^^^ Yes a lot of good points. I understand from making my own short film of women fighting to the death (fake of course, at girlfightmovie.com) that combat sports, scripted or not, isn't everyone's foray and it's something you just gotta accept as a producer.

But you bring up a good point that US could cause injuries that affect a star's contract within the biz. And there are definitely quite a few videos where talent are injured as I explained above (I recall Alexa Von Tess and some young pretty girl DragonLily hurt in the very early US) and that could cause issues on top of the medical problems doing porn itself causes that have to delay productions and shoots.
  • As for the deaths - drug use and sexual promiscuity yet nobody prolonged life. As for the left Kink industry - Holy place is never empty.

  • There are a stack of reasons moving away starting a new career or just not their thing
thankfully we seen to have great new models to replace them jh/uk
  • Just seen the sticky, Anna Tyler should be added to the Unreliable category for the same reasons as Gia Demarco. (I can't re-edit my post for some reason).

Divas are an industry-wide problem in any aspect of entertainment. I am sure we've all been a diva before and we all have felt the consequences. Entertainment is a lot of hard work and demand with little in return especially if you're new and starting out.

With that said, while the Anna Tyler and Alexa Nova match was between two hot chicks, I am so glad Nikki Darling got to fuck Anna Tyler and dominate that white girl's ass.

Sometimes us members offend the models too. (most likely in the past)

Do you recall any incidents where that happened? Or on any Kink site? I swore I read about one on US. Maybe the admins need to enable reviewing comments before they allow them to be posted since a lot of the negative comments don't contain any constructive criticism.

  • Regarding Gia Dimarco, I remember reading that the reason she quit is she didn't want to damage work done on her breasts. There are plenty of models who've worked for US and decided not to return because they can make the same money with less risk to themselves.

Amber Rayne retired from US years before her death. She had injuries and in many cases was disallowed from competing for safety reasons. She made a one-fight comeback and was injured in that, too. Isis Love also stopped competing due to injuries, though remained part of the site.

The model that apparently was offended and left was Annie Cruz, though she has recently returned.

Sinn Sage was banned from wrestling at US, as she's had major head surgery after a holiday accident.

Serena Blair has not wrestled in a long time, and she mentioned being psychologically effected by the risk of injury.

Janay retired from US because she only wrestled in matches she knew she could win.

  • Hollie Stevens is dead?
    Damn! That's rough news...
  • I always wonder why Janay didn't fight tough opponent....
"She only wrestled with she could win" is so disappointed reason lol
  • Bobbi Starr is retired from the industry. She's been gone for at least two years. The 2015 scene releases on Kink which feature her are either re-releases of older content or previously unreleased scenes.

Dragonlily has a degenerative neurological condition, which is why she left US. She couldn't wrestle anymore. I believe that she has now retired from the industry as a whole.
I think princess donna left kink due to the acquisations involving james dean a while back
Princess Donna left Kink long before the controversy involving James Deen came up.
  • Regarding Gia Dimarco, I remember reading that the reason she quit is she didn't want to damage work done on her breasts.
I, too, remember reading a quote from Gia, stating that she didn't want to wrestle because of the risk to her breast implants. I can't remember the source of the quote, though.

It's worth noting that, after Gia stopped wrestling, she continued to shoot for Kink on other sites for nearly three years, so I seriously doubt that she was known for being unreliable. She also took a year off due to pregnancy. I believe that she is now retired from the industry.
Isis Love also stopped competing due to injuries, though remained part of the site.
I remember when it happened. As I recall, Isis didn't want to retire from US. But she had suffered multiple injuries, and there was no way that they would let her continue to wrestle.
  • Yes, those are good points. I put things simply for fact-checking purposes and working from patchy memory, I hope it doesn't read as dismissive. Isis got a lot of bad rep, undeservedly so IMO, but she did a lot for US.

Regarding the Gia Dimarco source, I think that was from Matt himself, though I can't be sure.

Sheena Ryder left due to a leg injury she sustained in a motorcycle accident; she couldn't wrestle anymore. Does anyone know why Rilynn Rae left?
  • Lucy Lee didn't quit, Matt DQ'ed her and banned her from returning, but she probably wouldn't have wanted to return, anyway. Yellow Kitty did leave in shame, but did a Hogtied shoot after she was shamed. It was right after her ass-kicking and unmasking by Isis Love, but it was only because she stupidly agreed to it (and putting up her mask) right before that match with Isis.
  • Lucy Fire lasted one round, went into a panic and quit.
  • What about :

    Mahina zaltana
    dia zerva
    Vendetta (really miss her)
    Chamila chloe
  • Dia left the industry for a relationship and to try something new, I think.

Vendetta gave up doing on cam performances as she worked in production at kink, which was the same reason Nina stopped going on-screen, as well.
  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • It's very common for those who leave the industry to return at some point. Whatever she's up to, I hope she's doing well.
  • Well... Looks like Dia has found a new way to express her dominant side. Hope she's enjoying it. Perhaps she'll honor us with a return visit to US competition one day to break in some rookies or challenge some old rivals. Really miss her. One of the few wrestlers to defeat Ariel at US. She still looks great too.

    Mistress Dia Zerva
  • Without DiZe even something as boring. Don't know about others, but personally I miss her sparkling performances and brilliant victories.
  • What about Rilynn Rae? Is she retired from US? And why? I hope she will return one day to US. She is so hot
  • Crimson Ninja wasn't a porn star so she couldn't have retired from the (porn) industry. She wore a mask to keep people from her daily life recognizing her. When she went from the full mask to the skimpy "Lone Ranger" style mask, which would NOT have kept anyone who knew her from recognizing her, I believe word got out who she was (a college and ju jitsu student in the San Francisco area) and she quit wrestling at US. She did a Hogtied before she left (with the skimpy Lone Ranger mask) which showed she got off on being bound and dominated.
